  • Swift Run Gap, accessible via U.S. 33
  • Rockfish Gap, accessible via I-64 and U.S. 250

Along the 105-mile stretch of this stunning drive you'll climb to 3,680 feet above sea level and have the opportunity to pull off the road at 69 scenic overlooks featuring mesmerizing vistas and unforgettable views. For the more adventurous, take part in an array of recreational activities - from hiking, horseback riding, and rock climbing to culinary events, stargazing and whiskey/wine tasting! Gasoline and diesel with 24/7 pay at the pump service are available at Big Meadows Wayside (mile 51).
