Shenandoah National Park Horseback Riding

Our 2016 season has ended; please check back in the spring for 2017 dates.

Skyland Stables - Shenandoah National Park There is no more genuine way to experience Shenandoah National Park than on horseback. A guided ride through a wooded trail on a mode of transportation yet to be improved upon by any technology offers an entirely new perspective.

Horseback and pony rides are available at Skyland Stables (mile 42.5 on Skyline Drive) throughout the day, weather permitting. Horseback rides depart from the stables, cross over Skyline Drive, and travel past the Limberlost area through an old apple orchard.
